Off-Peak Service Rates

Available: All territory served.
Applicable:To all industrial and large commercial customers with single-phase or three-phase requirements greater than 100 kilowatts. Swanton Village reserves the right to limit the total kilowatt demand served under the rate.
Voltage: 120/240 volts, single or three-phase; 120/208 volts where available; 240, 480, and 2,400 volts three-phase.

Off-peak hours shall be between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM weekdays and on weekends beginning Friday at 9:00 PM and ending Monday at 6:00 AM. Customer demand charge will be based on the highest of:
(1) 100% of the maximum 15 minute integrated KW demand created during daily peak hours, or
(2) 50% of the maximum 15 minute integrated KW demand created during daily off-peak hours.
(3) 85% of the highest demand billed over the previous (11) months.
Primary Metering Discount: Customers metered on the primary side of their transformers shall receive a primary metering discount of 2.5% of KWH and KW.
Transformer Ownership Discount: $ 0.43 per KW demand where customer furnished the necessary transformers.
Minimum Bill: Customer charge, plus customer demand charge.
Power Factor: For each one percent by which the average monthly power factor lags below 90%, the demand charge shall increase by 1%,
Terms: Bills are due when rendered. Swanton Village reserves the right to collect a deposit, subject to rule 3.200 of the Rules and General Orders of the Vermont Public Service Board, in an amount equal to 2/12 of a reasonably estimated annual bill for the account. The deposit will be refunded with accrued interest when the service is discontinued and the account is settled, or upon demonstration of 12 months satisfactory payment of bills for service, whichever occurs first.
Late Payment Charge: There will be a 1% late payment charge assessed on all account balances over 30 days in arrears for all customers who have not otherwise made payment arrangements with Swanton Village.
Effective Date: Effective service rendered the first billing cycle in September, on or after September 1, 2003, bills rendered the first billing cycle in October, on or after October 1, 2003
